This photograph looks digitally altered. Note the following:

1) There is zero reflection or haze from the screen, which would normally be clearly visible when a flash has been used as it has been in this case (note the shadow beside the man' finger). 2) The bottom right hand side of the screen shows a black wedge where the image has been improperly aligned with the screen.

This photo should at least be marked as 'digital simulation' or similar. The man may have indeed viewed the birth of his child in this way, but this is NOT a faithful representation of that event.

Not even a 'digital' simulation: as User:87.59.196.135 points out on en:Webcam page history, a print image seems to have been fixed to the front of the screen. --Old Moonraker (talk) 16:27, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
