I don't know how to do a proper accurate conversion of the original vector PostScript source to vector SVG, because the PostScript code involves "clipping", and I haven't been able to get clipping to work in SVG. Tracing the raster PNG would be sure to generate inaccuracies. AnonMoos 08:48, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure I can do it. Let me try. — Erin (talk) (FAQ) 13:19, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I am glad I found this article! I first saw this symbol on the knob of a dagger which was exposed in an exhibition in the Granada Alhambra in the year 2001. The exhibition was on the historical presence and history of the moorish culture in Spain. I "fell in love" with the symbol at once. I was a bit surprised there was no mentioning of the moorish conecction to this symbol. Greetings from Vienna Len -- 13:06, 4 February 2009 User:Len Tezza

I wasn't aware of any such connection; certainly in French-speaking and English-speaking cultures it's most strongly associated with Diana of Poitiers... AnonMoos (talk) 15:12, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
