Derivative of copyrighted image. -Nard 17:20, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why is that a problem? If it's not the same image it's not copyrighted. I can make my own icons. A derivative is when someone takes a copyrighted image and changes it. I built these from scratch. ~RayLast «Talk!» 00:31, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Also, see Image:Firefox_LiNsta.png and tell me if it should also be deleted. ~RayLast «Talk!» 00:43, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Looks fine to me, since they appear to have been made from scratch. There are only trademark issues which are none of our concern. Lewis Collard! (hai thar, wut u doin) 19:59, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment You would have to show the MS image you think this is a rip off of... if it's the similar one with the 'e' I'm not sure it's a derivative. gren 19:01, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment There may be some spurious logic here. If I draw a picture from scratch and it ends up looking very similar to an existing copyright picture, it is a copyvio. Does it look like an existing image?--Londoneye 12:17, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
