Mislabelled clitoris

The following text has been copied from the Village Pump.

The woman in this image (like most women) does not have an exposed clitoris. Her clitoral hood is covering the clitoris and it is not visible at all except perhaps the very bottom. Certainly, the main body of the clitoris (the glans) is not visible. Additionally, the arrow is pointing to a region which is not the clitoris. The arrow is about 1/2 a centimeter off the mark. Anatomically this mistake is comparable to mislabeling the underside shaft of the penis as the glans. —24.46.101.55 23:21:56, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

The clitoris is larger than it can be seen on every picture. So it's only the region where it begins. The glans is not visible. That's right. But is it necessary? I don't think so.--Hic et nunc (talk) 08:34, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Pubic Hair

This is right. But here the vaginal opening is demosntrated, not the aspect of a unshaved vulva. There are more pics at commons where normal pubic hair can be seen.--Hic et nunc (talk) 08:38, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

The reason there is no pubic hair is because most woman have learned to shave it off around 17-18 years old. No one want's a jungle down there. Jungle is apt, right? Hot, damp and very dangerous if you don't know your way around.
