This is not Veronica hederifolia agg.

[edit]

Veronica hederifolia agg. has usually got blunt calyx lobes, mostly longer than the petals, with visible spreading hairs, three- or five-lobed leaves (not crenate leaves). This is clearly a different Veronica species. It could be Veronica polita, because the leaves are nearly circular, some of them shiny, leaf margins bent downwards, but this is speculative, because I have not got insufficient information about Veronica species in the area where this plant was found. -- Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 22:28, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
