ICh mag die Grenzen von 2007, grade um Tschechien rum, wusste ich garnicht, dabei hatte ich doch Erdkunde LK... Aber vlt sollte ich mal in die ganz neuen Deutschen Gebiete fahren...

Mistakes in the picture[edit]

I don't know whether this discussion page adresses to a native English or German speaker, but as it its original layout was designed in English, I try it this way... Well, as already mentioned above in German, there are a number of misatkes in the map which should be corrected if this file is further to be used in the German Wikipedia:

  • The borders showing the current situation are partly not correct. The East borders of Germany do of course not include the Czech Republic as shown here.
  • Vichy France was actually occupied by Germany since November 1942.

There are a number of German misspellings on the map:

  • It's "Ostpreußen" and "Westpreußen", but not "West Preußen" etc. That's the English way of writing, in German this is not correct.
  • It's "Alliierte",, not "Alliierten"
  • It's not "Weitester Deutscher Armee Vorschub" (that's simply a nonsense expression), it should be "Weitester deutscher Vorstoß"
  • It's "Groß-Rosen", not "Gross-Rosen".

When corrected, this is indeed an interesting and well-designed map!
