As this images is a featured picture candidate on Wikipedia, so that it's the best that it can be, I have just replaced it with an improved version (compare for yourself). The new file had been re-stitched from the original images. I did that to remove some blending artefacts that were present in the old version. Additionally, I ensured that all verticals were indeed vertical this time. I also removed some unattractive lens flares (but I left one interesting group in), filled in the blank space around the edges, and slightly sharpened the entire image. This panorama was nominated for and then subsequently promoted to Wikipedia Featured picture status on 19 May 2005 (the award is shown on the Wellington City Night.jpg page on Wikipedia). It was one of the most popular featured pictures, with a vote of 15 to nothing in favour of its promotion.
