It would be great if someone experienced could change the colour violet to something with higher contrast to blue for the sake of colourblind people. At the moment blue and violet are too close in appearance to make an easy differentiation. Make it e.g. yellow or orange.

I agree with the unsigned edit above, we should fix the colours

[edit]

Not only is it an accessibility issue that the purple is barely distinct from the blue, but the contrast of ff0000 red with 0000ff blue (as well as the contrast of the red next to that shade of purple) is hideous and eye-strainy. If someone edits the graphic to fix the accessibility issue by changing the purple to a yellow or orange, can they also desaturate the red and blue a little bit to fix this issue? I think I fixed it? although maybe I'm seeing caching issues, never updated a file in place. I used https://www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-simulator/ to validate and https://davidmathlogic.com/colorblind/#%23D81B60-%231E88E5-%23FFC107-%23004D40 and chose paul tol's https://personal.sron.nl/~pault/ color scheme to replace the old scheme. I think it should be a little less eye searing, but also more visible for color blindness. Benjamintf1 (talk) 00:28, 6 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just want to commend the desaturation from a non-colorblind perspective as well. The bright/neon colors are irritating to look at sometimes. -Vipz (talk) 17:08, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
