The so called three towers are Ghent's landmark. Those towers are: Sint-Baafs church, Belfort (Belfry) and Sint-Niklaas church. Sometimes, you will hear about the fourth tower of Ghent, the Boekentoren

Saint-Michael church. This church was mainly build between 1440 and 1480 under the auspices of the local brewers guild, but finished only in the 17th century. However, the top of the tower was never finished (because there was no money left for it).
