Українська: Богомол (Mantis religiosa) - типовий представник ентомофауни узбережжя Чорного моря та сухих південних степів України. Його поява у Шацькому національному природному парку - яскравий приклад наслідків глобальної зміни клімату. Цю особину ми випадково помітили під час польового виїзду на болото Звунич на території парку. Колись сильно заболочена територія, тепер часто суха, більше подібна до лучної, ділянка в минулому була осушена масштабними меліоративними роботами. Зараз саме суттєва зміна клімату - потепління і зменшення опадів, є головним чинником експансії цього виду на північ України. English: Praying mantis (Mantis religiosa) is a typical representative of the entomofauna of the Black Sea coast and the dry southern steppes of Ukraine. Its appearance in the Shatsk National Nature Park is a striking example of the effects of global climate change. We accidentally noticed this individual during a field research to the Zvunych wetland in the park. At some time there is a very swampy area, now often dry, more like a meadow, the area in the past was drained by large-scale reclamation works. At present, the very significant climate change - warming and decreasing precipitation - is the main factor of the expansion of this species to the north of Ukraine. |
