Українська: Будинок збудовано в історичній садибі, що з середини XIX ст. належала подружжю надвірних радників Бровінських. У 1872 р. майно придбав спадковий почесний громадянин Петро Григорович-Барський, власник найбільшого в Києві паперового магазину та друкарні. У 1898 року в правій частині садиби, на межі з ділянкою по вулиці Маложитомирській 12, на його замовлення був побудований 3-поверховий прибутковий будинок (архітектор М.Вишневський).
У 1910-14 рр. в мезоніні цього будинку мешкав Мурашко Олександр Олександрович (1875-1919) - художник, педагог, випускник Санкт-Петербурзької Академії мистецтв, професор Української Академії мистецтв. У цьому будинку обладнав власну майстерню, де створив кілька визначних творів.В останній чверті XIX ст. з боку подвір'я надбудовано мезонін. З 1894 р. будинок належала київському купцю 2-ї гільдії, майстру іконостасів Олександру Івановичу Мурашку. У 1910-14 рр. у будинку мешкав з родиною Мурашко Олександр Олександрович (1875-1919) – видатний український художник, педагог, випускник Санкт-Петербурзької Академії мистецтв, професор Української Академії мистецтв. 1858;1875 р. (прибудова), ост.чверть ХІХ ст. (надбудова мезоніну)
