Description
English: Ukrainian flag of the 79th Airmobile Brigade mortar battery

In November-December 2014, the "Tsunami" battery secured position in the village of Pisky not far from Donetsk. Commanders who defended the Donetsk airport - the renowned "cyborgs" - signed the flag in a newly fashioned tradition as a sign of gratitude to the mortar operators for their fire support.

This flag accompanied troops throughout their long combat path from Mykolaiv to "Dovzhansky" checkpoint at the Ukraine-Russia border, and later from Krasnyi Lyman to Mariupol.

У листопаді - грудні 2014 року батарея «Цунамі» займала позицію в селищі Піски неподалік Донецька. За традицією, на прапорі залишали свої побажання командири «кіборгів», які йшли на ротацію з Донецького аеропорту, дякуючи мінометникам за вогневу підтримку.

Цей прапор пройшов довгий бойовий шлях: від Миколаєва до КПП «Довжанський» на українсько-російському кордоні, і від Красного Лиману до Маріуполя.
