English: Botanical name - Coccinia indica

Common name - Indian Ivy Gourd; Baby watermelon Tamil name – KOVAI (கோவை) Lowers glucose level; In traditional medicine, fruits were in use to treat leprosy and asthma ; For jaundice also fruit is medicine ; 

 Roots are used in joint pain;Leaf paste is applied  on skin to treat

scabies; Plant is found out as antioxidant; Rich in beta-carotene; Useful to treat gonorrhea and constipation. In snapshot - Amajestic bud of creeper ,Coccinia indica !
