1. วัดถ้ำผาแดง (ผานิมิต) บ.ดงเย็น ต.บัวเงิน อ.น้ำพอง จ.ขอนแก่น

ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2532 บนพื้นที่กรมป่าไม้ เนื้อที่ 3,000 กว่าไร่ โดยที่มาของชื่อวัดเนื่องมาจากช่วงเวลาเย็นๆจะเห็นหน้าผาเป็นสีแดงที่มาจากแสงที่ส่องมาจากดวงอาทิตย์ที่กำลังคล้อยต่ำจะตกดิน ภายในถ้ำก็เป็นหินงอกหินย้อยธรรมดา

        ธรณีวิทยา.... บริเวณนี้เป็นหินของหมวดหินพระวิหาร ชั้นหินเอียงเทจากแนวระนาบ 100 วางตัวในทิศทางประมาณ 1740 (dip angle/dip direction) ประกอบด้วย หินทราย สีขาว สีขาวแกมเหลือง ส่วนใหญ่ประกอบด้วยแร่ควอตซ์ ขนาดเม็ดละเอียด....... ดูต่อได้ที่ : https://www.khonkaenlink.info/home/news/3993.html
