ქართული: წარმოდგენილ რუკაზე სამეგრელოს სამთავროს, შესაბამისად, სრულიად საქართველოს ჩრდილო-დასვლეთ საზღვარი ისტორიული ტრადიციისამებრ, აზოვის ზღვასთან არის აღნიშნული. აფხაზეთის სამთავროს, რომელიც სამეგრელოსადმი დაქვემდებარებულ ერთეულს წარმოადგენდა, რუკაზე ცალკე დატანილი არ არის. აღნიშნული რუკის მიხედვითაც ქ. სოხუმთან სამეგრელოს პორტი (Porto Mengrello) მდებარეობდა, რაც ამ ქალაქისა და პორტის ქართველებისადმი კუთვნილებაზე მიუთითებს
English: According to historical tradition, the north-western border of Samegrelo Principality, i.e. the whole of Georgia, is indicated on the presented map, at the Sea of Azov. The principality of Abkhazia, which was a unit subordinate to Samegrelo, is not marked separately on the map. According to the mentioned map, the Principality of Samegrello (Porto Mengrello) was located near the city of Sukhum, which indicates the belonging of this city and port to Georgians.
Русский: Согласно исторической традиции, северо-западная граница княжества Самегрело, т.е. всей Грузии, обозначена на представленной карте у Азовского моря. Княжество Абхазия, бывшее подчиненной Самегрело единицей, на карте отдельно не отмечено. Согласно упомянутой карте, Княжества Самегрелло (Порто Менгрелло) находился недалеко от города Сухума, что указывает на принадлежность этого города и порта грузинам. |
