Notes[edit]

Aa-nuh-kum-ig-ish-kunk (from Ojibwe Enakamigishkaang, "[Traces of] Foot Prints [upon the Ground]") of the Rainy Lake Band of Saulteaux was a signatory to the 1826 Treaty of Fond du Lac. His name was recorded by King as "A-na-cam-e-gish-ca" while the United States Government Printing Office recorded his name as "Aa-nub-kum-ig-ish-kunk" (a misprint of "Aa-nah-kum-ig-ish-kunk").
