| Description |
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
In aanwezigheid van zijn opvolger A. van Schendel wordt jhr. D.C. Roëll bij zijn afscheid als hoofddirecteur van het Rijksmuseum door minister J.M.L.T. Cals in een toespraak gehuldigd. In aanwezigheid van beeldhouwster Charlotte van Pallandt onthult Cals een beeld van Roëll. Tot slot wordt Roëll benoemt tot grootofficier in de huisorde van Oranje. Verder het int. van het museum dat door Roëll geheel is aangepast, oa De Nachtwacht en andere schilderijen van Rembrandt, vroeg-Nederlandse schilderkunst, kabinetten voor miniaturen en zalen met meubilair.
English: JHR DC Roell, in the presence of his successor A. van Schendel, speaks on his retirement as general director of the Rijksmuseum. Minister JMLT Cals is honored in the speech. In the presence of sculptor Charlotte van Pallandt Cals, a picture of Roell is revealed. Finally Roell appoints the Grand Officer of the Order of Orange House. Furthermore, the interior of the museum has been completely changed by Roell, including The Night Watch and other paintings by Rembrandt, early Dutch paintings, miniatures and cabinets for rooms with furniture. |
