[edit]DescriptionAspergilium.JPG |
English: This is a photograph of a Pitcher (container)|:en:ewer|Pitcher and an aspergilium from the Episcopal Cathedral Church of Saint Matthew. Inside the aspergilium is a small sponge. Water is poured into the ewer, then blessed. The aspergilium is dipped into the ewer, and then the bishop uses the aspergilium to bless something with holy water.
This is my photograph that I took and you are welcome to it.
