ARTICULO PRIMERO: Adóptese la Bandera Municipal del Distrito de Arraiján, dentro del siguiente emblema, cuyas características lo definen:

El Color Azul Superior, representa la belleza del cielo y el mar que rodea nuestro Distrito. El Color Amarillo, representa la población que se extiende por todo el territorio, las seis (6) estrellas amarillas que proyectan esa misma población en los seis (6) corregimientos que forman parte del Distrito. El Color Verde, representa la Flora, por dos Laureles una hacia la izquierda y una hacia la derecha, uniendo con las estrellas en la parte superior del color azul que simboliza el cielo. Un escudo, ubicado en su centro dividido en 3 cuartetos que representa en la parte superior, el Puerto Vacamonte como progreso del Distrito, aun costado del Cerro Cabra, como expresión de la naturaleza. El cuadrante inferior izquierdo simboliza el Fruto del Trabajo por parte de la Mano Campesina y el cuadrante inferior derecho simboliza el Indio Arrayan como uno de los origenes del nombre de Arraiján.
