Description
Deutsch: Die Bronzeplatte am Ort des Brunnens des Maternihospitals, An der Frauenkirche, lässt den Betrachter erahnen, wie Dresden etwa zur Zeit des Baus der Bährschen Frauenkirche ausgesehen haben könnte. Eine Brücke führt von Norden über die Elbe in die Stadt hinein, die von einer Befestigung umgeben ist. Rechts oben am Schnittpunkt der beiden (über das Kartenmotiv verlaufenden) Geraden befand sich einst der Brunnen und heute diese Bronzeplatte, im direkten Umfeld das Maternihospital und die gotische Frauenkirche mit ihrem Kirchhof. Der freie Platz daneben ist der Jüdenhof, der erst durch den Wegfall der Stadtmauer an dieser Stelle und die Säkularisierung des Frauenkirchhofs mit dem neu entstandenen Neumarkt verschmolz. Der freie Platz zentral ist der Altmarkt, südöstlich davon die Kreuzkirche. Im Nordwesten der Stadt ist der Zwinger aufgrund seines charakteristischen Grundrisses unschwer erkennbar.
