CD-Funktionsweise; da die CDs von der Oberseite gepresst werden, sind die Pits (Vertiefungen) von der Unterseite her als Hügel zu erkennen. Von der Laserseite erscheint ein Land daher als Erhebung. Da fast alle CD-Spieler die CD von unten abtasten, Zeichnung entsprechend angepasst. Ich hoffe, dass damit auch eine Quelle für Verwirrungen beseitigt ist, die im gelegentlichen Wechsel von Pit und Land in der Versionshistorie ausdruck findet.
