Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Portugal, after historical blazoning from Armorial of European Nation in L'Enciclopédie by Diderot (1763). Jozé Manoel of Bragança, king of Portugal (1750-77). Argent, five escutcheons azure on each as many plates in saltire, all within a bordure gules thereon seven castles or.
