CORINNE GRIFFITH was born in Texarkana, Texas, in 1901. Was educated at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans and at a seminary in Austin, Texas. She made her first step on the road to picture stardom by winning the prize for beauty at a Mardi Gras ball in New Orleans. Rollin S. Sturgeon, impressed with the girl's beauty, requested an introduction, which led to the suggestion that she enter films. She acted on his advice and is today one of the foremost stars of the screen. Height, five feet, three inches; weight, 120 pounds. Light brown hair and blue eyes. Married.
