In the areas A the field lines are closed and keep the corona's plasma. In the area B they reach out to space, the plasma can leave along the field lines. Area B is a so called coronal hole.
Deutsch: Zu sehen sind die Magnetfelder in der Korona:
In den Bereichen A sind die Feldlinien geschlossen und halten das Plasma der Korona fest. Im Bereich B reichen sie in den Raum hinaus, das Plasma kann längst der Feldlinien entweichen. Der Bereich B ist ein sogenanntes koronales Loch. Français : Illustration des champs magnétiques observables dans la couronne solaire. Dans les zones A, les lignes de champs sont refermées, retenant le plasma. Dans la zone B, les lignes de champs sont dirigées vers l'espace. Le plasma s'échappe le long de ces lignes de champs. Les zones de type B sont appelées trous coronaux.Cependant, il ne s'agit aucunement de trous. Mais elles apparaissent sombres lors des observations. Les premiers autonomes à avoir constaté ce fait les ont donc baptisées ainsi. |
