Deutsch: Das von Helmut von Jan entworfene und von Stürmer gezeichnete Wappen wurde am 5. Oktober 1950 vom Rheinland-Pfälzischen Innenministerium genehmigt und geht zurück auf das große Stadtsiegel aus dem Jahr 1230. Es zeigt die den Palas und den Bergfried der Reichsburg Trifels sowie die Ortskirche.
English: The arms were granted on October 5, 1950 and based on a seal from 1230. They show the palas and the bergfried of Trifels Castle and the church of the village. |
