Deutsch: Das 1880 eingeführte und 1938 zuletzt durch den Mülheimer Künstler Daniel Traub geänderte Wappen ist der Schild des letzten Grafen von Daun-Falkenstein als Herren von Broich. Die Felder entsprechen den Herrschaftswappen: 1 Daun, 2 Falkenstein, 3 Limburg, 4 Oberstein, 5 Broich und 6 Reipoltskirchen.
English: The arms were granted in 1880 and last confirmed in 1938. The arms are the arms of the last Counts of Daun-Falkenstein, who, as vassals of the counts of Berg, ruled Mülheim until 1659. The six parts symbolise Daun, Falkenstein, Limburg, Oberstein, Broich and Reipoltskirchen. |
