Description
Українська: Учасники акції проти русифікації України. Чоловік праворуч тримає плакат, на якому намальовані графіки, що показують малу частку української мови у сфері книгодрукування, на радіо, та виданні журналів в Україні. Учасник перформансу ліворуч зображає Йосипа Сталіна, як одного з російських лідерів, що знищував українську мову. Акція відбулася на вулиці Банковій, біля Адміністрації Президента України у День української писемності та мови 2015 року. Її учасники вимагали вжити законодавчих заходів для захисту української мови в Україні. Організатор - громадянський рух Відсіч.
English: Participants of the demonstration against the Russification of Ukraine. The man on the right holds a poster with pie charts showing the small share of the Ukrainian language in book printing, radio, and magazine publishing in Ukraine. The performance participant on the left portrays Joseph Stalin as one of the Russian leaders who destroyed the Ukrainian language. The demonstration took place on Bankova Street, near the Administration of the President of Ukraine, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language in 2015. Its participants demanded legislative protection of the Ukrainian language in Ukraine. The organizer was the Civic Movement Vidsich.
