Español: Escudo de la Ciudad de Puno. En el medio del escudo podemos apreciar el Lago Titicaca que fuese sagrada en su tiempo del imperio incaico, arriba de este podemos encontrar tres castillos rojos los cuales son Huacsapata, Santa Bárbara y San José, encima de estos se tiene una corona dorada que simboliza a la de España pues los castillos fueron construidos en símbolo de honor y lealtad hacia esta. Encima de esta corona podemos notar salir un brazo con armadura agarrando una espada y un lazo rojo es del comandante Joaquín Antonio Orellana y Quevedo que defendió la ciudad que pretendía ser destruida en 1780 por rebeldes de la época.
En la cinta roja podemos ver un lema que dice “Contra Aliam Pugna Domun” el que en español significa “Combate solo contra los que no son de tu estirpe”. En la parte inferior de todo el escudo se puede apreciar tres balas, dos cañones y tres lanzas las cuales fueron armas usadas para defenderse la ciudad en aquel tiempo. En los lados se tiene dos banderas que son sostenidas por una lanza cada una en la izquierda la de color azul y en la derecha la de rojo.
