Español: Retrato del rey Felipe V de España (1683-1746), que fue nieto del rey Luis XIV de Francia y el primer monarca de la Casa de Borbón en España. Aparece cuando todavía era Duque de Anjou. Aparece sobre un cojín bordado con las flores de lis emblemáticas abrazando a un perro negro. Vestido con riqueza, ostenta la banda e insignia del Saint-Esprit, orden fundada por su antepasado Enrique IV de Francia. La obra copia el mismo personaje que se encuentra en el retrato El Gran Delfín y su familia (Museo de Versalles) en el que se le ve con sus padres y hermanos (Texto extractado de Luna, J. J.: El niño en el Museo del Prado, Museo del Prado, 1983).
