Summary[edit]

Description
English: Gloster Gladiator fighter after emergency landing on the ice on the Mjøsa on 9 April 1940, with many spectators. The plane belonged to the Fighter Wing stationed at Fornebu. It was evacuated to Hamar via Steinsfjorden, and later flown by Dag Krohn. Then flown to Brumunddal, and ended up on Vangsmjøsa. The longest surviving Norwegian Gladiator.
Norsk bokmål: Gloster Gladiator jagerfly nødlandet på mjøsisen den 9. april 1940, med mange tilskuere. Flyet tilhørte Jagevingen stasjonert på Fornebu. Ble evakuert til Hamar via Steinsfjorden, og fløyet av Dag Krohn. Videre fløyet til Brumunddal, og endte opp på Vangsmjøsa. Den lengst overlevende norske Gladiator.
