Description
Deutsch: Blick durch das Hallesche Tor, das südliche Ende der Berliner Friedrichstadt, kurz vor dem Bau des U-Bahnhofs. Hinter dem Tor liegt der Belle-Allaince-Platz (heute Mehringplatz) mit der Friedenssäule in seiner Mitte.
English: View through Hallesches Tor („Halle gate“), the southern end of Friedrichstadt, Berlin, shortly before the construction of the subway station. Behind the gate lies Belle-Alliance-Platz (now Mehringplatz) with the Column of Peace at its center.
