தமிழ்: 1960-1970 காலகட்டத்தில் சென்னையில் ஓவியக்கல்லூரியில் நவீனத்துவம் சூடு பிடித்தது. அத்தகைய காலக்கட்டத்தில் கலைஞர்கள் தமிழர் பாரம்பரிய கலை மற்றும் பண்பாட்டு கூறுகளை பல்வேறு வகையில் வெளிப்படுத்தினர். இந்த பற்றிக்குவேலைப்பாடு, ஓவியர் கே.எம்.கோபால் அவர்களின் கைவண்ணத்தில் சென்னையில் செய்யப்பட்டது. தற்போது கலைமையும் (UK) என்ற அமைப்பின் சேகரிப்பில் உள்ளது.
English: Madras School of Arts and Crafts was transitioning to modernity in 1960s-1970s. During this time, artists have explored various methods to express their arts and culture. This Batik was done by artist K.M.Gopal during 1970s. This is now held in the collecion of Kalaimaiyam (UK).
