Description
English: JEW Rolls, the grandfather of Charles Stewart Rolls, co-founder of Rolls- Royce, built the early phases of the Hendre mansion near Monmouth. The Oak Room was his study, decorated with carved panelling and collector's items, a typical Victorian gentleman's retreat.Monmouth Museum ref.no.R299
