Summary[edit]

Description

The street outside my house (the rivers Ouse & Foss are more usually to be found in the top right hand corner of the shot).

Blue Bridge Lane has been flooded for the second time in a week and this time a flotilla of canoes are out in the late evening sunshine.

Floods in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and across the Midlands. Many peple have been made homeless - at least for a short period - and to date at least five have lost their lives in floods caused when some places have had all of June's usual rainfall in one day!
