Deutsch: Oben das Dorf Skocjan, unten: Blick in das erste (Mala Dolina) der beiden eingestürzten Teile der sehr großen Karsthöhle Skocjanske jame. Die Felsöffnung ist der erste große Ponor (von 3), durch welchen der Fluss Reka sich seinen Weg bahnt, bevor er in der Höhle von Škocjan verschwindet und 38km im slovenischen „Kras"-Gebirge unterirrdisch fließt. Die Höhle ist durch die Liste des Weltkultur- und Naturerbes der UNESCO geschützt.
