Summary[edit]

Description
English: Aftermath of an exploded ship loaded with ammunition. The incident took place in Utrecht, the Netherlands on June 12, 1967. The result was 2 fatally wounded, around 140 people needing hospital treatment and many damaged buildings. Seen in the photo is a part of the ship that ended up ashore by the explosion, a gas holder in the background remained intact.
Nederlands: Munitieramp op 12 juni 1967 in Utrecht. Zichtbaar op de kade van de Kernhaven op Lage Weide een deel van het ontplofte munitieschip van Defensie. In de achtergrond staat een gashouder die intact bleef.
