ไทย: เมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2563 รัฐบาลสหรัฐอเมริกาได้ให้ความช่วยเหลือรัฐบาลไทยในปฏิบัติการครั้งใหญ่เพื่อต่อต้านเครือข่ายยาเสพติด 5 เครือข่ายที่มีมูลค่าการฟอกเงินกว่า 3,000 ล้านบาท (ประมาณ 100 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ) ด้วยการสนับสนุนจากหน่วยสืบสวนพิเศษ (SIU) สำนักงานปราบปรามยาเสพติดสหรัฐฯ (DEA) ประจำเชียงใหม่ รัฐบาลไทยได้จับกุมผู้ต้องหา 15 รายที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับการฟอกเงินมูลค่าหลายล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ ในพื้นที่ชายแดนไทย-เมียนมา
English: On April 9, the United States Government assisted the Royal Thailand Government in a large-scale operation against five drug trafficking networks with money laundering operations worth over 3 billion baht (approximately US$100 million). With support from U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Chiang Mai Sensitive Investigative Unit (SIU), the Royal Thai Government arrested 15 suspects who are involved in laundering millions of U.S. dollars across the Thailand-Myanmar border. |
