Праворуч, перед сходами до церкви, встановлений хрест та плита з написом: "Це символічна могила жителям Локач, Старого і Нового Загорова, Защитова, Білополя, Кутів, Творинич, Шельвова та інших сіл Локачинського району, розстріляних сталінським режимом 23 червня 1941 року в Луцькій тюрмі. Могилу освятив ієрей Володимир Мисечко, якого гітлерівці у вересні 1943 року закатували у Рівному. Вічна їм пам'ять!"
