Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Brateş se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, în al cărui câmp albastru se află o barză de argint, având ciocul şi picioarele de aur, întoarsă spre dextra, ţinând în cioc un şarpe de aur, cu limba scoasă, de argint. Totul este flancat în partea superioară de o semilună descrescătoare, figurată, de argint, la dextra şi un soare, de asemenea figurat, de aur, la senestra.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Barza face referire la faptul că această comună este cea mai bogată în populaţii de berze din judeţul Covasna, iar şarpele asociat face referire la terenurile smârcoase de pe teritoriul comunei.

Semiluna şi soarele provin din sigiliul de odinioară al comunei.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
