Derrière, Europe, agissant un éventail avec un long manche.
English: Detail of a red-figure stamnos dated around 440 BC, found in Chiusi, originating from Attica attributed to the "Painter of Midas", depicting Midas seated on a diphros, holding a scepter in his right hand, wearing a saccos, in front of which the long ears of an ass project. Behind him, Europa acts as a fan-bearer with a long-handled fan. |
