Description
Deutsch: Rittergut Schmenzin, Kreis Belgard, Provinz Pommern; heute Smęcino (deutsch Schmenzin) ist ein Dorf in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Westpommern. Es gehört zur Gemeinde Tychowo (Groß Tychow) im Kreis Białogard (Belgard). Das Schmenziner Schloss wurde 1854 bis 1856 als Gutshaus unter Theodor von Kleist erbaut. Prägend war der turmartige Mittelteil. Graf Adolf von Kleist hat um 1870 noch einen Flügel angebaut. Das Gebäude wurde 1945 ausgeplündert, blieb aber zunächst stehen. Letzter Eigentümer war Ewald von Kleist-Schmenzin. In polnischer Zeit war im Schloss die Verwaltung eines Staatsbetriebes untergebracht. Jetzt dem Verfall preisgegeben.
