English: German light cruiser SMS PILLAU photographed in 1914-1916. This ship was begun as the Russian MURAVIEV AMURSKY and taken over by the German Navy from the German builder, Schichau of Danzig. (Courtesy of Master Sergeant Donald L.R. Shake, USAF 1981)
