Description Templo construido originalmene a finales del XII, cuyo primitivo origen románico fue sustituido en reformas sucesivas. En la fachada barroca con aspecto renacentista destacan las columnas salomónicas, además de la figura de Santiago Matamoros y la imagen de la Virgen en su Ascensión, flanqueada por San Francisco, San Pedro y Adán y Eva. Cuenta una leyenda que, durante las invasiones de los ingleses en el siglo XVII, un soldado quiso robar el copón de oro que se hizo invisible.
