| Description |
Svenska: Skokloster Kungssalen. Väggarna är klädda med gyllenläder. Stuckaturtaket är utfört av Hans Zauch 1663-1664. I stucktakets sidofält ser man symboler för världsdelarna. Kungssalen är prydd med flera kungaporträtt, bland vilka det finns ett Ehrenstrahl-konterfej av Karl XI. Ljuskronan i Kungssalen hänger där sedan 1672. Den är tillverkad av Melchior Jung (1615-1678) vid Melchior Jungs glasbruk (Jungs glashytta) i Stockholm. Man vet inte exakt när den tillverkades, men den kom till Skokloster 1672. Ljuskronan har gjutna pärlor och hängen av glas. Modellen är av venetiansk barocktyp. |
