Description

Sohan Papdi is an Indian sweet that preserves well, and served on festive occasions such as Diwali.

It is made from gram flour (besan), white flour, milk, sugar, clarified butter (ghee), seeds and dry fruits such as pistachios and almond slivers.

It is typically square or cuboid shaped, that is crisp and flaky to bite, with sweet fibrous crunchy melting feel in the mouth.

It is a sweet common in street shops of India. Also found in other South Asian countries.
