Stamp of Monaco; 1948; commemorative stamp of the issue "180th anniversary of birth of François-Joseph Bosio" (1768-1845).; Meant is the Baron François-Joseph Bosio (1768-1845 (other source 1769-1845), born in Monaco, death in Paris); He was a French sculptor and drawer and depicted as stamp motive is his sculpture "La Nymphe Salmacis sortant du bain". This sculpture was created in 1824 (other source 1826) in the style of the French classicism and is contemporary located in the "Musée du Louvre" in Paris. (The Baron was an narrow comrade from Napoleon I.);
