Description
Українська: Скам'янілість кореневої системи вимерлого плауноподібного (швидше за все Sigillaria або Lepidodendron). Відноситься до верхнього карбону. Цей фрагмент знайдено на відвалі вугільної шахти Білицька Добропільського району Донецької області, Україна. Достатньо рідкий об`ємний зразок. На фрагменті дуже добре видно бокові відростки (апендикси) і їх вузли кріплення до кореневища
English: Stigmaria is a form genus for tree roots of Carboniferous coal forest Lycopod trees such as Sigilaria and Lepidodendron. Upper Carboniferous. This fragment was found at the dump of the "Belitska" coal mine in the Dobropillya district of Donetsk region, Ukraine. Quite a 3D specimen. The fragment is very clearly visible lateral shoots (appendices) and their nodes attachment to the rhizome.
