Description
English: The holotype specimen of the possibly extinct achlorophyllous mycoheterotrophic flowering plant Thismia kobensis (family Burmanniaceae) on 10 June 1992 shortly after it was collected at its type locality, a secondary forest at Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, which was destroyed in 1999 due to the construction of an industrial complex.
