| Description | Ehemalige Endo-Klinik in Wintermoor. 1943 nahm die Stadt Hamburg diesen Klinik-Komplex für die Behandlung von Brandopfern und Kriegsverletzten im Zusammenhang mit dem 2. Weltkrieg als "Ausweich-Krankenhaus" in Betrieb. Ab 1947 wurden hier Tuberkulose-Kranke behandelt. Später wurde daraus eine Fachklinik für die Behandlung von Erkrankungen der Atmungsorgane. 1976 übernahm die Hamburger ENDO-Klinik als Spezialist für Knochen- und Gelenkchirurgie den Klinik-Komplex, mußte aber 1997 den Standort aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen schließen. Danach zog ein Seniorenpflegezentrum in die Anlage ein, ging allerdings 2005 in die Insolvenz. Spätere Versuche der Einrichtung eines Schulungs- oder Erlebniszentrums blieben bereits im Planungsansatz stecken. |
