The building on the right is the one time Town Hall , called in the 20's "Magistrat" in Polish and later renamed "Urząd miejski" along withe old name for mayor (from German) "burmistrz' - to"prezydent" ( miasta). There is an error also in claiming the 27 regiment stationed in Kowel before 1939. Actually it was the 50 Pułk piechoty ( Infantry Regiment) headed till the beginning of the WW by general Drapella.
